U-12 AND WHEELCHAIR TOURNAMENT ENDS IN ACCRA

The finals of the Ultimega Solutions U-12 tennis Super Cup tournament is scheduled to end tomorrow, Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Out of the 64 players who took part in the boys category, Ben Tukpeyi and Jeff Frimpong came out as finalists.

Jeff Frimpong is a juvenile tennis player from the Ghana Tennis Club, Adabraka. He is noted for his volleys, slice and overheads.
Ben Tukpeyi from the Korlebu Tennis Club also possesses a trade mark of placement and hard hitting amidst court craft that amazes his fans.

In the Girls division, it will seem to be a grudge for the two Stadium Girls. Powerful Phillis Kotey is all out to win the title but the “Never Say Die” Georgette Nortey hopes to give her opponent the match of her life.

For the first time, a Wheel chair tennis ranking had taken place in Ghana. In a round robin format, Experienced Daniel Laryea will lock horns with his playmate, Bernard Yawson for top and second seeding.

The Ultimega Solutions Wheel chair ranking will have Fatima Moro and Bridgette Nortey as the finalists of the ladies category.
The U-12 Super Cup tournament is the junior version of the just ended Translight Solar Super Cup tournament that had Samuel Antwi and Precious Nunana, winning the titles respectively.
It was organised by Ultimega Solutions, under the auspices of the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF), and sponsored by Stanbic Bank, Hollard Insurance, Translight Solar, Paradise Pac Water and supported by the Tennis Foundation Ghana(TFG).
