They 1st round of the comptition went smoothly as espected. Plange retired from the second set after picking up injury during the game. John see off Tomega in two straight sets. The final result was 6-3, 6-1.
The third was between Benjamin Fumi and desmond Sackey. benjamin came out victorious with 6-1, 6-2 straight set. Ghana no. 2, Samuel Antwi managed to send Emmanuel Wetty home with a thrilling 6-1, 6-3 straight sets.
Mbanu and Quartey gave their fans and spectators match of the day performance. Unfortunately, Daniel Quartey was defeated by 6-7(5), 7-5 straight sets. The results of the 8 games are below;
