The Chief Executive Officer of Ultimega Solutions has expressed the need for improvement in female sporting activities in the country.
Nana Kofi Asafu-Aidoo made a revelation of his IT firm’s intention to venture into organising female soccer alongside tennis in the near future.
According to him, most of the attention and resources at channelled into the male sporting events, leaving the females behind.
It is upon this that prompted Ultimega Solutions to include the ladies professional tennis into the 2022 edition of the Translight Solar Super Cup, an improvement of last year that excluded the ladies tennis division.
Mr. Asafu-Aidoo made a call to other corporate entities to come on board in Supporting ladies sport events. He said this at the closing ceremony of the Ultimega Solutions U-12 tennis Super Cup tournament and National Wheel Chair ranking tournament in Accra.
He expressed his firm’s gratitude to Translight Solar Ltd, The Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF), Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG), Stanbic Bank, Hollard Insurance, Paradise Pac Water and all supporting volunteers who assisted in staging the Super Cup tournament successfully.
